This past week I took some well needed and deserved time off work. My friend Matthew and I drove up to his family’s cottage in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. We had no agenda other than to relax. We spent a couple of nights star gazing and we caught the Perseids meteor shower. Outside of the city lights we had a spectacular vista for viewing the night sky. We also did a couple of day trips on the Peninsula to see more of Lake Superior, hit an art show and we went to the Hanka Finish museum. But mostly we chilled out and drank a LOT of beer! I’m loving Bells now! After we left the cottage we drove down through the Michigan peninsula through Northern Michigan. We camped out a couple of days. Once at a camp site north of Mackinac and the other day was near Sleeping Bear dunes. I took several pictures and videos.

I also have several short videos

Thanks Paul, It sounds like a wonderful trip. I wish I could get away this summer – but I do addicted to Florida.
It looks like you had a lot of fun! Ilove the rugged mountain man beard!
